Indescribable Original Soundtrack
Since the story of Indescribable centers around the writing of the great hymn of the faith, The Love of God, we knew the soundtrack for the film was vitally important. The score captures musical emotions ranging from comical and carefree to grief stricken and despairing. You will hear flavors of Jewish and medieval music. Sprinkled throughout the soundtrack are songs that reflect the music from the 1917 World War I era: Over There and Till We Meet Again.
The score for Indescribable is a beautiful combination of skills from our team of composers: David W. Hamilton, Jeffery Paul Roberts and Justine Maeurer. Period music by John Kraemer and additional music by Lori Cook.
At the climax of the film, “The Love of God” is beautifully sung by vocalist Guy Penrod. Guy sang with the Gaither Vocal Band for 14 years and his rich voice has brought to life many of the beloved hymns of the Church.
David W. Hamilton
David was born and raised in rural Oregon as the eldest child in a homeschooling family of seven. Gifted from a very young age with musical abilities, he took piano lessons for 11 years, and then taught himself guitar, voice, and drums. In early 2010 he developed an interest in composing—especially for Christian Film. The primary composer for Indescribable, his other works include short film Holiday Hostage, web series In His Steps: The Series, and feature-length thriller Othersight.
In addition to composing, David enjoys any sort of competitive physical activity, playing drums/piano at church, training to become a worship leader at Corban University, and working on the pre-production for a Sci-Fi feature film series of his own (Xor Sector).”
